Blackman | Family

Rain in L.A. Alert! Head for cover! OMG!  Yeah.  That's pretty much how it goes for us in L.A.  We can get all DOPPLER 7000 when there is even the hint of a sprinkle coming on.  So, being a true so cal girl, I was feeling a little uneasy about an upcoming family portrait session, with the possibility of rain (weather? what?).  But, alas, have no fear!  When one has cute vests, bright umbrellas, boots and puddles to splash in - you've got a recipe for greatness.  It was so fun!  This job allows me to meet some of the coolest families.  The Blackman's were no exception.  Super down to earth, laid-back, playful and totally game for the day.  

Meyers | Family

We couldn't have asked for a better day.  Truly.  Beautiful old oak trees, deer sightings, wide open space to run and explore.  This was great terrain for these two boys to explore.  We had so much fun capturing them as they enjoyed the great outdoors together as a family.  Thank you Meyers family for a great day :)

Brown | Family

This is a sampling of the Brown kids big and small.  Here they are soaking up the sun and getting their snuggle on.  With a range of ages in the family it was awesome to see the bigger kids take such an active role in caring for the little ones.  Brown love, it's a beautiful thing. :)

Donovan Trio

Running with the Donovan crew was good times.  This stylin' trio swung from trees, rolled down hills and raced through the park.  I did my best to keep up and had a blast doing it!

Riley.

Meet Riley.  This little beauty was a joy to hang out with.  She explored the sand with her toes, played in the palm tree shadows and soaked in the gorgeous sunny day with her mom and dad in tow :).  

Levy Love

Summer days are definitely in full swing!  I have been a bit of a slacker on the blogging front -- sit in front of the computer vs. run around outside with my adorable beasties?  Beasties have the ol' laptop beat these days :).  But, I couldn't resist posting up some shots from a recent family session with the Levy family.  Their two sons were so fun to chase around and capture them enjoying a summer morning at the beach & park.  

Davies

A gorgeous day, the adorable Davies crew, golf balls, golf carts for getting around -- it's a recipe for goodness all around.  This first picture is one of my favorites from the day, there's something about it that reminds me that Summer is upon us!  Thank you Davies family for a wonderful day :)

BFF, baby style.

These two lovelies were born just days apart from each other.  Aren't they so cute?  They've just come up on their 6 month mark and were showing off their new skills of sitting upright.  Neck control?! ha! a thing of the past, they've got that down- it's all about sitting up tall and trying to reach and crawl at stuff...like a nice wide 17-35mm lens for instance :). I had so much fun taking their pictures, they were a blast!  Watch out world, wait 'till these two start walking!
