Sun, Sand and Many, Many, Steps

This summer we were so lucky to spend time with our extended East Coast family.  We went to the grocery store, to the park, and on numerous coffee runs, and of course we spent a good chunk of time at the beautiful beach in San Diego.  Except, for some reason we chose the beach with five hundred trillion million steps.  And I'm not even exaggerating.  But the steps were our exercise for the day and they earned us the right to eat our s'mores happily.  

The kids loved spending time with their East Coast Granny and Gramps.

Here he is snuggling up with Uncle Steve, who celebrated his birthday on the trip.  This was great, because it meant CAKE! :)

Oh and we got to spend some time with Zoya, isn't she great?  She's quite an impressive one, that much is clear.
