Four generations. Amazing. Great grandmother, grandparents, mom and the adorable kidlets. Loving the moment of the kids dancing away while their family looks on. Grateful to be able to capture families soaking in the gift of one another.
Two Scissors | Etsy
Monday, April 18, 2011 at 2:30PM Watch out. Woman with scissors, needle, and thread and she knows how to use them. I'm a big fan of this particular crafty woman. For many reasons. We once spent a summer together in college where we lived on primarily chicken nuggets, fries and ranch dressing. And, actually we were really very happy about it at the time. We thought, oh yeah, party time! bust out the frozen nuggets and fries! You grab the ranch, i'll turn on the oven! When you find those people that get giddy about food in the same ways you do, good things are bound to happen. I'll have you know that we've moved on from that phase, and now when we meet for food, it's primarily ramen. That's progress people. Okay, onto the real reason for this post - which is that my lovely friend has opened up her own Etsy shop called Two Scissors, which features some high quality goods. These aprons are bringing the awesome into your kitchen whether you're making chicken nuggets or something slightly more sophisticated. Aaand....big big thanks to our gorgeous model and phenomenal assists by Eddie.

Three
Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 1:35PM It's been difficult to find time to blog much as of late, but I'm still around and have been tinkering with this on my iphone...which kind of feels like the only medium I've had time to use. But, I did want to post up this beautiful family. I absolutely loved capturing the three different generations together. Grandma, Grandpa, Mom (my lovely friend Priya...Hi Priya!), Dad, and the grandsons. The gift of having grandparents in your family, engaged in the lives of your own children is a powerful and life-giving presence. It was fun to enter into that wonderful mix of the generations and capture some of that.
